WORKING VISIT BY THE VICE MINISTER FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS
OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA TO MALAYSIA

Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Arif Havas Oegroseno will undertake a working visit to Sabah on 8 dan 9 April 2025, and to Kuala Lumpur on 10 April 2025.
During the visit in Sabah, Vice Minister Arif Havas is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Chief Minister of Sabah Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji bin Haji Noor and meet with Director of National Security Council Sabah Datuk Yahya bin Sulaiman.
In Kuala Lumpur, Vice Minister Arif Havas will pay a courtesy call on Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.
The visit provides an opportunity to explore mutually beneficial cooperation between and further strengthen the existing close ties between Malaysia and Indonesia, particularly in trade and tourism. It also offers a platform to address common challenges and advance bilateral relations in a more strategic and forward-looking manner.
In 2024, the total bilateral trade was recorded at RM116.29 billion (USD 25.5 billion), an increase of 4.5 per cent from RM111.21 billion (USD24.39 billion) in 2023. The Republic of Indonesia was Malaysia's sixth largest trading partner globally and the second largest among ASEAN member states.
