MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS WELCOMES
THE THIRTEENTH MALAYSIA PLAN
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (KLN) welcomes the tabling of the Thirteenth Malaysia Plan (RMK13) by Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Parliament on 31 July 2025.
KLN fully supports the implementation of RMK13 as the nation’s master development plan based on the MADANI Economy Framework. KLN views RMK13 as an important platform to enhance Malaysia’s competitiveness, and affirms the Government’s commitment to the well-being of the people and the sustainability of national development.
In line with the MADANI Government’s aspiration to uplift the people’s socio-economic status, KLN is committed to strengthening Malaysia’s efforts in shaping a sovereign and dignified nation, which will, in turn, enhance Malaysia’s global image. This objective forms one of the three foundational pillars guiding RMK13 in redefining the nation’s development trajectory.
In navigating a complex and uncertain geopolitical landscape, KLN is also ready to lead efforts to enhance Malaysia’s international cooperation through effective diplomacy, to support the achievement of RMK13’s strategic targets. This approach will not only reinforce Malaysia’s position globally but also drive long-term growth and boost national revenue through constructive and impactful engagement with foreign partners.
KLN reaffirms its full commitment to ensuring that all strategies and approaches outlined in the RMK13 document are achieved over the next five years. In this context, KLN will continue to intensify efforts towards building confidence of the global community in ensuring Malaysia remains a key player in the global economy.
