SEVERE FLOODS IN VALENCIA, SPAIN

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Embassy of Malaysia in Madrid is closely monitoring the floods caused by a severe rainstorm that hit areas in Valencian Region of Spain, since the evening of 29 October 2024.

Malaysia wishes to extend its deepest sympathies and condolences to the Government and people of Spain especially to the victims and the families who have been affected by this natural disaster. We hope for the swift recovery of those injured as well as the smooth restoration of properties and infrastructure.

Thus far, no Malaysians have been reported to be involved or affected by the calamity. Malaysians in Spain are urged to stay vigilant and adhere to the latest guidance and announcements by the local authorities.
