EXPLOSION AT SAMILA BEACH, SONGKHLA, THAILAND

The Consulate General of Malaysia in Songkhla, Thailand confirms that there have been two reported explosions at the tourist attractions near Samila Beach, Songkhla at approximately 10.00 p.m. (local time) on 26 December 2018.

Malaysians in the vicinity of the area are advised to exercise caution, and monitor latest developments from local news as well as local authorities.

Malaysians who are present in the affected areas and requires consular assistance should contact the Consulate General in Songkhla, Thailand at +66 93 657 0707.
