TYPHOON KAMMURI IN THE PHILIPPINES
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia has been monitoring typhoon Kammuri, which made a land fall in several areas in the Republic of the Philippines on 3 December 2019. The typhoon is expected to exit the landmass of Luzon on 5 December 2019. The areas most affected by the typhoon are the Visayas and Luzon.
As of today, there has been no report of any Malaysians affected by the typhoon.
In anticipation of devastation that could be caused by the typhoon, Malaysians visiting or living in the affected areas are advised to give utmost cautious to their security and safety; and follow instructions from local authorities.
