MALAYSIA CONDEMNS THE SUICIDE BOMBING IN ANKARA
Malaysia strongly condemns the suicide bombing incident in Ankara on 1 October 2023 at 9:30 a.m. (local time) which injured two (2) police officers. Malaysia stands in solidarity with the Türkiye Government and the international community in rejecting any acts of violence aimed at disrupting the legitimate political process.
There is no report of any Malaysian involved in the incident. The Embassy of Malaysia in Ankara is monitoring the development and closely liaising with relevant local authorities for more information.
