LATEST UPDATE ON THE INCIDENT INVOLVING MALAYSIAN CLIMBERS AT MOUNT DENALI, ALASKA, USA
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Consulate General of Malaysia in Los Angeles, confirms that the remains of the Malaysian climber who passed away at Mount Denali, Alaska, USA has been repatriated to Malaysia and arrived in Pulau Pinang on 15 June 2024 for burial in Taiping, Perak.
The Ministry also confirms that the two other Malaysian climbers have been discharged from hospitals and returned to Malaysia safely.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to express its appreciation to all parties directly or indirectly involved in ensuring the smooth repatriation of remains and the welfare of the victims are well taken care of.
