BOMB BLAST IN RAMESHWARAM CAFE, BENGALURU, KARNATAKA, INDIA
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Consulate General of Malaysia in Chennai, is closely monitoring developments following a bomb blast that took place at the Rameshwaram Café in Bengaluru on 1 March 2024 at around 1pm local time. It was reported that at least eight people, including three staff members of the café and one customer, were injured in the blast.
No Malaysians, including students, have been reported to be affected by the incident. In this regard, all Malaysians in Bengaluru are urged to keep abreast of the latest developments, take due precautions, adhere to advisories issued by local authorities and avoid crowded places as the investigation into the blast is still ongoing.
